The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team-based basic life support skills (including use of an automated external defibrillator (A.E.D.), with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. |

Blended Learning [Online Cognitive Learning + In-Person Skills Session] |
Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session. The hands-on session is completed in person with an AHA Instructor. HeartCode BLS uses online learning via a personalized adaptive algorithm that sets students on the most efficient path to BLS mastery. Students follow a continuously adapting learning path that is personalized by their own inputs: their performance and their self- reported confidence level related to each probe. ο»ΏThe online course content is presented in the form of self-guided learning content, probes, and Cognitive Assessment Activities. After completing the online portion, students will attend a structured, Instructor-led hands-on session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, team scenarios, and skills testing. |

Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid |

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED trains anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver Courses deliver first-class training in the lifesaving skills of CPR, AED use, and/or First Aid. The courses are designed to meet workplace safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA. Heartsaver can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency. Upon successful completion, students earn a course completion card valid for 2 years. Ideal for: Anyone who has little to no medical training that need first aid, CPR and AED training to meet job requirements, as well as the general public, childcare workers, teachers, coaches and babysitters. |
